MDC-T blasts “evil and hard hearted” Mugabe for mocking Tsvangirai over illness

The oppsition MDC-T party has hit back at President Robert Mugabe for mocking his rival, Morgan Tsvangirai’s health issues. Addressing members of the youth league at the Zanu PF National Youth League Assembly in Harare on Saturday, Mugabe said:

It made not just the opposition tremble. Vakavamba vana Tsvangirai zvino kudedera nekumabvi uku, ndopakabva pavamba pasusukidza hurwere hwacho.

Aiwa tinoti kandai chipfumo pasi hapana kwamunosvika.
(Surrender your swords, you are not going to win any fight)

This did not go down well with the members of the opposition who felt that this was a low blow. MDC-T Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora said:

That was very evil of President Mugabe but, we are not surprised that he will have such kind of an attitude. He has always been a hard hearted man who does not feel for others.

The good news for the people of Zimbabwe is that President Tsvangirai is now well and will be resuming his duties soon.

I spoke to him. He is very energetic and he is past the worst now.
